WKBW BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) – A 21-year-old man was found driving a car with no license plates, no windshield, no doors with an axe stuck in the roof, according to the Wyoming County Sheriff’s Office. Deputies were responding to calls of a suspicious vehicle driving on Youngers Road in the Town of Wethersfield.According to the Sheriff’s Office, Jared Price of Java was behind the wheel and performed poorly on field sobriety tests. After taking Price into custody, further tests determined he was driving while impaired by “multiple drug categories”, according to the Sheriff’s Office.The incident happened on July 24.Price is facing several charges including Driving While Ability Impaired by Drugs and Driving While Ability Impaired by the Combined Influence of Drugs.Price was arraigned in the Town of Gainesville Court on $10,000.00 cash bail or $20,000.00 bond. Price was scheduled for further proceedings in the Town of Wethersfield Court on August 1, 2017.
When George Costanza wanted to get fired by the Yankees so that he could get hired by the Mets he wanted people to say “wow, now that guy got canned.” I imagine this guy wanted people saying “wow, now that guy got pulled over.” And guess what? He accomplished just that. I’m a firm believer in that overkill is underrated and this guy didn’t skimp on the overkill. Driving around in a car that doesn’t have a windshield, that’s happened before. Driving without a door, jeeps do that. But driving around with no windshield, license plate and all 4 of your non-jeep doors ripped off is next level wild. Perhaps the only way to take that to the next level is to drive an ax into the roof. Well this guy is an extra mile kind of guy so he went ahead and added the ax. Going off on limb here, but I think the combination of drugs found in his system had something to do with his decision to transform his car into the car from Trains Planes And Automobiles.
