If you ever wondered what a commercial with Ndamukung Suh and DeMarcus Cousins would look like, wait no longer. Foot Locker, who’s been on sort of a role with making athletes using self-deprecating humor which includes the recentish commercial where Lonzo Ball made fun of his crazy father have done it again with this gem.
In this latest stroke of marketing genius, you have two of the most perceived jerk players in their respected leagues walking around a parking garage being exactly what everyone thinks they are, which are jerks. It’s very well done because it’s not over done. It’s simple, straight to the point and will have anyone who knows anything about them laughing unless you’re the kind of person who has brainwashed yourself to never like anything these guys do. If that’s the case, then all I have to say is that you’re commitment is an interesting one.
Love when athletes and celebrities take time to make fun of themselves even for only 40 seconds.Like the celebrities reading mean tweets about themselves. It’s always good. It’s nice knowing that they aren’t robots out there who have no self-awareness. A guy like Russell Wilson or Lebron could benefit to poke fun of the things that people love to cut them down about. Show a little human side. It could go a long way for not being mocked all them time. Unless you’re into being mocked, keep on doing what you’re doing.
